“I have lived with my parents and younger brother in Ridley Park for three years. I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in political science from St. Joseph’s University. I enjoy reading, painting, and spending time with my cats. I work as a constituent services advisor for the PA House of Representatives. It’s my job to help people with state related issues they may have. In that time, I’ve heard a lot about the issues residents of Ridley Park face. I’m running for the borough council because I want to be more involved with finding solutions.”

Walter Taggart
“I grew up in Delaware County. I worked in the corporate world for 10 years and then started working as a home remodeler and real estate agent. At the same time, I joined the Air Force Reserves, and I spent 5 years working aircraft maintenance. Everything was great, and our family owned a company that was worth over 5 million. And then we lost our 12-year-old son Danny. Everything turned 180 degrees for me, and I had to start over again. It took a long time to stand back up again. I am now running for Ridley Park Borough Council so others will not have to fall through the same cracks I did. I look forward to helping make realistic changes to Ridley Park.”
